These terms are the agreement between you and longvoie ("we") for using the longvoie app and website. By creating an account you accept them. How we handle your data is on the Privacy page.
longvoie
longvoie lets you ride real roads on an indoor bike trainer: the road's climbs set your trainer's resistance, and your rides add up along long roads. It is free for now. If that ever changes, we will tell you first, and nothing you have already ridden will be taken away.
Your account
You need an account, signed in with your email address. One account is for one person. Keep access to your email safe: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You can delete your account at any time from the app (You › Settings › Delete account).
Ride safely
Riding a trainer is real exercise. Check with a doctor before you start if you have any doubt about your health, and stop if you feel unwell. longvoie changes your trainer's resistance as the road climbs: set up and use your trainer as its maker says. The heart rate, power and energy figures are estimates for training, not medical measurements.
What you add
Your rides and the roads you import are yours. You let us store and process them only to run longvoie for you. Only import routes you are allowed to use, and nothing unlawful.
Maps and roads
The roads, places and maps come from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, under the Open Database License) and Mapbox (© Mapbox). They may be out of date or wrong. longvoie is for riding indoors: don't use it to find your way outside.
Using it fairly
Don't misuse longvoie: no attacking or overloading it, no getting into other people's accounts, no copying or reselling the app, its maps or its roads. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why.
Changes and availability
We keep improving longvoie, so features change. We try to keep it running, but can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. If we ever close it, we will tell you ahead of time and give you a way to take your rides with you. When these terms change in a way that matters, the app will tell you.
Liability
longvoie is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost data or injury arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.
