ROUVY's routes are filmed, so you see the actual road as it looked on the day, with other riders added in. It has a big library of them, plus workouts and events. If riding through real footage matters to you, that's what ROUVY is for.
Where longvoie is different
Because longvoie builds the road from map data instead of video, a road doesn't need to have been filmed to be ridden. That's how it can offer the famous climbs and long river routes for free, and how it can turn any GPX file of yours into a road (how).
It also keeps your place on long roads, so something like the Loire or the Danube can be ridden over weeks of short rides. There's no subscription, and it runs in Chrome or Edge.
