About the road
Part five of Munich to Istanbul crosses into Croatia at Batina and follows the Danube down to Vukovar and Ilok, then into Serbia and on to Novi Sad, under the Petrovaradin fortress. From there it goes through Sremski Karlovci and Zemun into Belgrade, where the Sava meets the Danube below the Kalemegdan fortress.
Belgrade is where the journey leaves the Danube.

How to ride it on your trainer
